Oscar Cryan

Chartered Building Engineer, Surveyor and specialist in dampness & timber decay

Founder of Harewood Surveyors | Managing Director

Oscar Cryan formed Harewood Independent Surveyors back in 2019. He specialises in residential building surveys and all issues which relate to dampness in buildings. Oscar developed a specialism for dampness after working in social housing, where damp issues needed to be solved on a daily basis. A typical working week for Oscar includes surveying properties for homebuyers and providing guidance for home owners with their problematic buildings.

Carl Vener

Chartered Building Surveyor

Senior Chartered Building Surveyor

Carl is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 30 years of experience in surveying and property. Carl qualified from Brighton University with a first class honours degree and UK construction award for dissertation and energy research into renewable energy systems. Carl has a diverse range of surveying skills and experience, from the restoration of GI listed buildings, to guiding homebuyers with their next purchase. Carl can mostly be found providing L3 Building Surveys and L2 Homebuyer Reports.

Adam Wallis

Certified Surveyor of Dampness & Timber in Buildings

Specialist Damp Surveyor

Adam Wallis is a certified surveyor of dampness and timber in buildings. Adam specialises in diagnosing building defects causing dampness and timber decay in buildings of all kinds, old and new. A typical week for Adam looks like providing pre-purchase damp and timber reports and conducting investigations for building owners and property managers.

Ria Keen

Office Coordinator

Ria Keen is our office coordinator and she may well be the first person you speak to at Harewood Surveyors. Ria manages our enquiries and provides key support to our surveyors. Desktop property research is also carried out by Ria to assist our surveyors with their investigations.
